ADIA Lab Symposium 2026 to Explore How AI Systems Are Predicted, Designed and Deployed
Three-day forum in Abu Dhabi will bring together world-leading data scientists, academics and innovators to examine how AI is transforming research and engineering
5 October 2026, Abu Dhabi: ADIA Lab, the independent Abu Dhabi-based institute dedicated to basic and applied research in data and computational sciences, will host its fourth annual symposium from October 26 to 28, 2026 in Abu Dhabi. The 2026 ADIA Lab Symposium, taking place at Four Seasons Hotel on Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi, will bring together some of the world’s leading scientists, researchers, engineers and industry experts for three days of discussions on Prediction, Design and Deployment.
This year's program will examine how advances in AI move from understanding and modeling complex systems to designing reliable technologies and deploying them in real-world settings.
Dr. Horst Simon, Director of ADIA Lab, said: “As AI continues to move from scientific discovery to real-world application, understanding how systems are predicted, designed and deployed has become increasingly important. Our flagship event will bring together experts from academia, research institutions and industry to discuss the challenges of modeling complex systems, the engineering discipline required to build reliable technologies, and the opportunities and practical considerations involved in deploying them at scale. It is a platform to exchange ideas, challenge assumptions and explore how advances in AI can help address increasingly complex real-world problems.”
Day one of the Symposium will focus on ‘Prediction: Understanding, Modeling and Forecasting Systems’, exploring how AI, High Performance Computing and advanced simulation are improving our ability to understand complex physical, biological and economic systems. Sessions will examine topics including probabilistic intelligence, digital twins, multiscale simulation, and next-generation forecasting.
The second day, ‘Design: Engineering Systems with Reliable Intelligence’, will focus on building AI systems that are robust, trustworthy and reliable. Discussions will cover system architecture, verification methodologies, reliability engineering and validation frameworks required to develop AI that can be safely deployed across critical sectors.
The final day, ‘Deployment: Scaling Innovation into Practice’, will explore the challenges and opportunities involved in translating AI research into practical applications. Sessions will examine industrialization, infrastructure integration, scaling constraints, and implementation across sectors, highlighting how AI can move from breakthrough research to meaningful societal and economic value.
The Symposium forms part of ADIA Lab’s broader efforts to advance research in data and computational sciences and contribute to the global exchange of knowledge and ideas. In addition to keynote discussions, the program includes interactive workshops and networking opportunities for attendees to connect with fellow researchers.
The three-day forum is free to attend, either in person or virtually, but registration is essential. More information and registration details are available on the link below.
